Dr. Matthew P. Steinberg is an applied economist and policy researcher whose work focuses on the economics of education, program evaluation, applied econometrics, and cost-effectiveness analysis. Matthew is currently a Senior Fellow at Accelerate, where he led the organization’s portfolio of evidence-building work as the inaugural Managing Director of Research and Evaluation. Prior to joining Accelerate, Matthew was an Associate Professor of Education and Public Policy (with tenure) and the Director of EdPolicyForward: The Center for Education Policy at George Mason University.
